Honors Applied Statistical Methods
Calendar Fall 2007
- Seminars
- 15-minute presentation/discussion by students of lecture topic
from preceding week. For example, on September 6th two students will present
on material from lecture #1 and one student will present on lecture #2.
Internet, newspaper, or journal article discussed must be made available
to class by Monday of each week, either by posting the url on Blackboard
or by providing hard copies (21) in Monday's lecture.

- *Labs (and some seminars) meet in Stat Lab CL 435
(take stairs
up from Bigelow Blvd. side of Cathedral) the following dates: Aug. 30,
Oct. 11, Oct. 18, Oct. 25, Nov. 1, Nov. 8, Nov. 15, Nov. 29.
- Midterm 1, Mon. Oct. 8 covers Chs. 1-5
- One 2-sided sheet of notes permitted.
- Midterm 2, Fri. Nov. 16, covers Chs. 6-10 (up to
paired and two-sample t but not F)
- Two 2-sided sheet of notes permitted.
- Final, cumulative on all covered material
- Wednesday, December 12 from 10:00 to 11:50 in regularly scheduled
classroom
- Two 2-sided sheets of notes are permitted.
