This is my Academic web page. My day job is Professor of Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. My general area of expertise is Cognitive Psychology, with research spanning the areas of Speech Perception, Psycholinguistics, Memory, Social Cognition and Speech Technology. I generally teach courses in Introductory Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Psychological Research Methods, History of Psychology, and courses in my specialty such as the Psychology of Language and Artificial Intelligence. A list of my papers and publications can be found here.

Every year Dr. Steven Stern and I host the Annual Laurel Highlands Undergraduate Psychology Research Conference in April. Undergraduate students in Psychology from various colleges and universities in the Tri-State area attend and present their research.

You’ve probably already figured out that I'm a body art enthusiast.  I also like riding my motorcycle . I'm an avid concert-goer, you can find an alphabetized list of the bands I've seen over the years here.   I occasionally write reviews of "Pittsburgh Scene" rock/punk shows for GlobalPunkReview.com, check out my reviews online if you're interested. I also maintain a Facebook page.
