Summer Research Program

Summer Research Program Dear (Dr. Woo, Dr. Debski, Dr. Abramowitch), Thank you for providing me with the opportunity to be a part of the MSRC community this summer. Chances to perform undergraduate research are few and far between, and the experience has been exciting and enriching. The knowledge and skills I learned in my time at the MSRC will no doubt be invaluable to me in the years to come. The weekly meetings and updates were very useful, and provided me with insight into the other research being performed at the MSRC. I also enjoyed the opportunity to present my work to everyone through the Summer Research Symposium that we organized. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the MSRC this summer and am considering returning next summer. Sincerely, Collin Eddington The purpose of the MSRC Summer Research Program is to expose students to orthopaedic research so that they may augment their class work with practical, hands-on experience. Each summer, the MSRC welcomes 10-12 undergraduate students from a variety of schools for a 12 week experience. During their time with us, each student is responsible for a specific project that is vital to their respective research group. At the end of the summer, students write an abstract that is published in our annual report and present their work at the MSRC Summer Research Program Annual Symposium. This twelve-week program begins in May and runs through August. For detailed information regarding student projects, please view the past years Summer Research booklets (links below).
