The 16th International Symposium on Ligaments and Tendons (ISL&T-XVI) was held in sunny San Diego.
This year’s program featured multidisciplinary topics starting with a clinical lecture on the “Biological Strategy in ACL Surgery” followed by a look at the structure and function of soft tissues, biomechanics of tendons and ligaments, ACL biomechanics, repair and regeneration, and surgery and therapeutics. The afternoon focused on tissue engineering, regeneration and healing, tendinopathy and tendinosis, tendon and ligament stem cells and rotator cuff repair and healing.
