Registration

Registration Fee

The cost is $15 per student. This covers continental breakfast, lunch, photocopying, and copy-cards. You may register immediately without the names of your students. However, a school purchase order or check MUST BE MAILED TO THE ADDRESS BELOW to activate the registration.

Delegation Size

In order to participate in the Model UN Simulation, each delegation (country) will require 6 but no more than 10 delegates (students).

No school may bring more than a total of 20 students plus one permanent representative. A permanent representative may participate in the sessions of a committee or may serve only as the permanent representative. Complete details will be given in the Manual.

A check or school purchase order covering registration and mailed to the address below will hold your place until a student roster is submitted no later than Monday, November 9, 2009. No school will be registered without a PO or check -- no exceptions.

Please submit the following to the address below (print or type – handwriting is hard to read):

  • Name, phone number, and address of the school
  • Faculty sponsor's name; email address and home phone number
  • Faculty sponsor’s cell phone for the day of the simulation (in case of emergency questions)
  • Number of students
  • A check (payable to the University of Pittsburgh) or school purchase order

Upon registration, the faculty sponsor will receive detailed information on the issues, the day’s events, directions, and assigned countries. The Pitt Model UN manual is available on this website.
