The Department of Health & Community Systems (HCS) is one of three academic departments in the School of Nursing. The department is comprised of faculty in the specialties:
  • Community Health Nursing
  • Gerontological Nursing
  • Nursing Informatics
  • Nursing Education
  • Nursing Research
  • Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing
  • Psychiatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner
  • Clinical Nurse Specialist Psychiatric Mental Health

The Department has responsibility for the RN Options program and the Accelerated 2nd Degree BSN program, as well as for the research doctoral emphasis in chronic disorders courses across the curricula.
