Motion Capture Maya® Animations:

Motion capture data was obtained from UPMC Sports Performance Complex for a squat and a standing jump performed by a volunteer subject. The data consisted of joint angles at the toe, ankle, knee, and hip for right and left legs collected at 120 Hz. The data also included the anthropometric data for the volunteer subject.

A custom code was written in the BVH (Bio Vision Hierarchy) format to import the motion data into Maya® (Alias®). Modeling and animation creation were done in Maya®.

To the right are the links to the squat and standing jump animations. Only the right and the left legs were animated due to the limited data.
