Twice a year EMAP, the Mercy/Mercy Prov emergency physician/CRNP group, has a group retreat to discuss many issues -- coordination with other departments, recruitment, retention, scheduling, money, overwork, underwork, etc. One of the yearly retreats is held at our office down the street from Mercy Main (ho-hum) but as a treat, the yearly November retreat is held at the luxurious Nemacolin Woodlands resort on top of Laurel Mountain east of Uniontown.
