While some might argue, doing research on the Internet turns up few leads whereas researching in libraries and archives produces many results. There are several large instituitons full of materials relating to Jews, Jewish communities, and, who knows, maybe an ancestor!

• American Jewish Archives - houses the records of the Cincinnati Jewish community. They quickly respond to emails and written requests.
• Arizona, University of, Library - includes information on synagogues in southern California, Arizona, New Mexico, and El Paso
• Beth Hatefusoth Genealogy Page - info on the Goldman Jewish Genealogy Center in Israel - search the database by email
