I work hard to bridge the gap between UPJ and the Johnstown community and have been recognized by the Pitt-Johnstown Advisory Board with their Community Service Award. Some examples of my work include:

 

Academy service

I served as a member of the national Board of Directors of the Marketing Management Association.

 

Campus service

As a member of the Faculty Senate, I worked to gain approval of five new degree programs as well as an

Entrepreneurship minor. I co-authored the new Marketing B.S. and minor degrees.

 

Bridging Campus and Community

I have guided the development of student marketing plans for more than 80+ mostly not-for-profit organizations in

our region ranging from the YMCA to the Girl Scouts to Stone Bridge Brewery and SEADS of Love Garden Center.

 

Community service

I have been active in dozens of community initiatives including a proposal to rehab a former department store into a successful multi-use facility.
