I am a PhD candidate at Department of Economics and will be joining the Economics Department of Bahcesehir University (Istanbul, Turkey) starting September 2011.
My research interests are mainly econometrics, empirical microeconomics and labor economics. My recent work named “Estimation of Dynastic Life-cycle Discrete Choice Models” develops and estimates a dynastic life-cycle model with endogenous fertility, labor supply and inter-generational transfers. The estimator developed in the paper can be applied to a rich set of models with altruistic preferences.
