This is the governing body of MARHGN and meets twice a year. Voting membership currently consists of one member
from each state, appointed either by the health department or elected by a caucus of general members from that state. Other
members include the chairs of all standing committees, officers, two consumer representatives, and one representative from the
blood disorders group. The Chair of the Steering Committee is the President of MARHGN.
