Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, this database consists of research reports, conference papers, books and periodical articles from 1966 to the present. While its focus is on education literature, it also contains a wealth of information in related social science disciplines. There are some full-text links.

HAPI (Health and Psychosocial Instruments).                                                               Locate under Databases A-Z in the Digital Library
Provides indexing access to information on measurement instruments in the health fields, psychosocial sciences, organizational behavior and library and information science.

MedLine.                                                                                                                     Locate under Databases A-Z in the Digital Library
This database provides indexing access to a wealth of medical and health information. Citations and Abstracts from Index Medicus, the International Nursing Index, and the Index to Dental Literature.

PsycINFO.                                                                                                                   Locate under Databases A-Z in the Digital Library
This database is the electronic version of Psychological Abstracts. Its indexing coverage is from 1887 to present and includes all types of documents. It is international in scope, including relevant materials on academic research, and practice literature in psychology, as well as related disciplines.

Web of Science.                                                                                                             Locate under Databases A-Z in the Digital LibraryThe Web of Science provides access to three citation indexes. Among these are the Institute of Scientific Information’s Science Citation Index and Social Science Citation Index. These may be searched electronically back to 1992. The most unique and valuable feature of a citation index is that it allows you to search for additional publications that have cited a source you have already found on your topic. A useful tutorial for learning to search the database is available at:
