This database focuses on information published in journals on engineering topics. This is a good resource for finding information about remote sensing applications.
GeoRef
Locate
under Databases A-Z in the Digital Library
This database
includes indexing and references to publications of the United States
Geological Survey. It also indexes masters’ theses and doctoral
dissertations from both U.S. and Canadian universities. It covers the
geology of North America from 1785 to the present and geology of the
remaining part of the world from 1933. It
includes links to full-text publications.
This database
produced by the Mineralogical Society of America contains individual
species descriptions with links and a comprehensive image library. It
is a valuable resource for information on minerals. Browse the database
by crystallography, chemical composition, physical and optical
properties, New Dana classification, Strunz classification, and
alphabetical listing.
