Major indexing resource for aquatic sciences literature. Indexes more than 4500 journals, books and reports from 1978 to present. Includes some full-text links.


Biological Abstracts (BIOSIS)                   
Locate in Digital Library under Databases A-Z

Indexes over 6000 journals, as well as books, book chapters and review articles in the life sciences. Indexing 1969 to present.


BioOne                                                       Locate in Digital Library under Databases A-Z

Collection of more than 40 full-text scholarly research journals focused on the biosciences.


Elsevier’s ScienceDirect                             Locate in Digital Library under Databases A-Z

Provides indexing of approximately 2800 scholarly journals, with full-text access to over 1500 Elsevier journals.


Web of Science                                            Locate in Digital Library under Databases A-Z

Includes electronic version of the Science Citation Index. Index coverage is 1993 to present. Searchable by keyword, author and cited reference. This is a useful database for identifying related publications, by searching for another publication that cites a known article in their bibliography.


Zoological Record                                       Locate in Digital Library under Databases A-Z

Provides indexing coverage to over 6000 journals, selected dissertations and conference proceedings from 1978 to present. Some full-text links. Scope includes all aspects of zoology, including behavior, biochemistry, ecology, evolution, genetics, habitat, life cycle and more.
