Survey Lots Map
The "raw" locational data for all the individual survey lots in the Río Parita survey area are provided as an AutoCAD (Release 12) .DXF file. The file is named MAP.TXT. Because this .DXF file is an ASCII text file, it has been named with the extension .TXT, which makes it easier to download and save it with some browsers. It will probably need to be renamed by changing the extension .TXT to .DXF in order to be read properly by some programs that import .DXF files. The layers in this drawing, their colors, and the information contained on each are as follows:
- LOTS (Red): AutoCAD closed polylines, enclosing the areas represented by each of the individual lot collections.
- LIMITS (Magenta): Two AutoCAD closed polylines, delimiting the boundaries of the two parts of the survey zone.
- LOT_NUMBERS (Yellow): AutoCAD text strings giving the lot number designation for each lot. These text strings correspond to the collection numbers in the survey lots dataset, and their insertion points are inside the polylines they correspond to, for AutoCAD or other programs capable of matching text strings to polylines in this way.
- SITE_NUMBERS (Green): AutoCAD text strings giving the site numbers to which groups of lots were assigned for convenience.
- RIVERS (Blue): AutoCAD polylines tracing the course of the Río Parita.
