Video Script
My script will follow a similar formate of Only Revolutions commenting on how the dates and historical context can interupt and distract from the story. My version of Only Revolutions tells a story of my time in Pitt. It is a mimick or mock of the form of Only Revolutions. The script follows some similar contraints as the book, yet is an example of a revolution of only a single day in someones life.
The beep of the alarm invades Kezia's dream as she slowly awakes.
She can't remember what she was dreaming, but knows it was strange.
Alarm clock
It is the first day of classes at the University of Pittsburgh.
Kezia is nervous, but excited to start class and make new friends.
She gets out of bed and begins to get ready for class.
As she walks outside the August sun shines and she is excited.
University of Pittsburgh
The class was astronomy, in a foreign building with a foreign teacher.
Terribly boring as she went over the class syllabus ever so slowly.
She did not know or even recognize any body in the class.
Scribbling quietly on her notebook, notes and her class books to buy.
Oberon and Titania
When the class was over Kezia went back to her dorm room.
Her roommate wasn't home and she couldn't help but to feel lonely.
Her family was accross the country, and everything about Pitt seemed distant.
Pueblo Colorado
After doing hw in her room for sometime she goes to dinner.
Several girls on Kezia's floor go and eat in towers together.
There are numerous things to eat, a sloppy joe is her choice
After dinner she returns to her homework, tonight she studies the Constitiution
Constitution Day
After studying and chatting with her roommate, she decides time for bed.
She dresses in her pajamas and climbs up on to her bunk.
Though scary and long her day has finally come to an end.
Tomorrow will begin the cycle again.
