After my own copyrighted material, each link in the index will transport you to another location on the world wide web. That location will appear in the frame on the right. Think of this in terms of a footnote in a published text - a literary citation that leads you to another resources. The beauty of the web is that you only need to click to find that resource quickly.

If you want to know the specific web address of a specific link that appears in the frame on the right, simply point your cursor arrow at the link on the left and look at the bottom of your web browser. If you're on a PC, pointing the cursor at a link will allow you to see the web address (http://) of the site that interests you. (If you're on a Mac, then get a PC!)

A more adept internet user will know how to open a new web browser for the page that appears in the right frame and thus see the page's web address at the top of the newly opened browser. Or you can use your mouse to right-click on a photo and determine its home location. For example, the photo seen here, picturing Vidal with JFK in the early 1960s, is located at http://www.clarence.com.
