I have worked as a full-time technician in the Kalisz lab for the past six years. I am currently working on using microsatellite markers our lab has developed to genotype populations across the Tribe Collinseae and determine their outcrossing rates. During the summers I work at Trillium Trail Nature Reserve managing a project examining the role of herbivores and invasive species on population dynamics of native species. I also manage the planting and maintenance of plants for all lab projects with the help of Ellen York, our greenhouse manager.
