BSIS Curriculum (New Verison)

(for students admitted for Fall 2006 and after)

Skills and General Education Courses (60 credits)

Take specified courses in public speaking, writing, foreign languages, linguistics, mathematics, statistics, psychology, and computer programming. Choose eight additional courses from the offerings in humanities, social sciences, and natural/physical sciences.

Information Science Major (30 credits)

Take courses in programming, information technology, systems analysis and design, and human factors. Choose two advanced courses. Select an internship, independent study or additional courses as electives.

Related Area (15 credits)

Take five courses in a related field such as Management, Accounting, Economics, Psychology, Communications, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
