Twin Study

Language Development

If you’re within 100 miles of the Greater Pittsburgh area, consider participating in a twin study at the University of Pittsburgh: The University of Pittsburgh Twin Study of Language Development.

We’re looking for identical and fraternal twins between the ages of 2 and 6 years to participate in a study of language development. This study involves a series of short sessions over the next two years, during which trained psychologists will engage your twins in games that are carefully designed to study their language development. At the end of each session, each child will receive a small toy as a gift for participating.

Our testing sessions are scheduled at your convenience and can take place at the University or in your own home.
