ENGR 0715: Engineering Applications in Society

Jenny Huling

Bio:

My name is Jenny Huling. I'm a freshman at the University of Pittsburgh School of Engineering. I am originally from Mechanicsburg, PA. In High school I swam competitively and was in my school's marching band and indoor percussion ensemble.

I plan on going into bioengineering, specifically tissue engineering. I plan on getting my bachelors degree in bioengineering as well and finding a job in research. My ultimate goal is to research the growth of new organs. I find the developments happening in the field of bioengineering absolutely fascinating and I hope someday to be a part of it.

Team Project:

Our team project is to create an easy to use program that will be able to match someone with the correct shuttle depending on where they are and where they need to end up. Currently no system is in place to do this and hopefully our project will make using the shuttles easier and more effective.
