My name is Huadong Wang. I am a user experience researcher.
This is where I put up my resume, portfolio, and publications. From this site, you will get to know me as a user experience researcher, and get a sense of my skills, experiences, and personality.
Background
I got my master degree from Tsinghua University, Beijing China and specialized in Human Computer Interaction research and its application in information retrieval as well as online user experience. Now I am at University of Pittsburgh working on my PHD thesis. My major is Information Sciences with focus on HRI, HCI & HF. My current PhD research topic is how to help human interact with spatiotemporal data.
So what's my passion?
My passion lies in studying the interactions between users and systems, and helping delivering memorable and enjoyable experiences to users.
I want to create organic, compelling experiences that engage and enrich.
...and how would I do this?
I would leverage my background in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Engineering, and Information Sciences to tackle user experience challenges and to define optimal physical and virtual user interactions.
I hope to be able to work closely with designers and engineers to define, deliver and facilitate the process from conception to execution.
