PlacementIn order to identify the language course that best fits your needs and language skills, we are requiring that all first-time language students with previous knowledge of Spanish take a placement test. Please take the test before your scheduled registration appointment with your adviser. The placement test has two components: a) on-line written test, b) oral interview. Oral Interview: a) By appointment: e-mail Professor Carlos Ramírez (cramirez@pitt.edu )or, Mo. 10-12 and 2-5 Students may place into Spanish levels beyond SPAN 0002, up to SPAN 0020 and 0025, by taking the placement exam.
