Geophysics, Global Positioning Systems, and Geographical Information Systems

Laboratories at the University of Pittsburgh focused on geophysics, GPS and GIS. Related to my research and teaching interests there are laboratories dedicated to Global Positioning Systems, tele-seismic detection of earthquakes and ground motion, reflection seismic imaging, and Paleomagnetism at the University of Pittsburgh. Many of these research activities are supported by, and in collaboration with, the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL).
