The report of the Subcommittee on the Evaluation of Academic Programs is attached and will be presented by Dr. Ian Reynolds, the liaison of the review. III. Review of a Proposal to Establish a Certificate Program in Environmental and Occupational Health Risk Assessment
Attached is a copy of a proposal to establish a Certificate Program in Environmental and Occupational Health Risk Assessment in the Graduate School of Public health. This program will attract students who are seeking a documented advanced training experience, yet cannot commit to a graduate degree. It requires 16 credits. It is anticipated that a student can achieve the certificate through training at nights and on Saturdays. Dr. Gregg Claycamp will attend to present the proposal and to answer questions.

IV. Review of a Proposal to Establish a Master of Public Health in Environmental and Occupational Health
Attached is a proposal to establish a Master of Public Health in Environmental and Occupational Health (EOH,) in the Graduate School of Public Health. This proposed degree option is designed to attract students seeking a professional degree in public health and to offer a greater degree of flexibility to practitioners of environmental or occupational health who wish to strengthen their academic background. The entire proposed curriculum is already in place as part of the M.S. degree in EOH. It differs from the M.S. degree only in requiring a master's essay rather than a master's thesis. Dr. Gregg Claycamp will attend to present the proposal and to answer questions.

V. Report of Chair
The chair will discuss the status of health insurance plans and concerns about various taxation issues.
