I. Approval of the Minutes
The minutes of the meeting on March 25 are attached. The deposition of various issues raised at our last meeting will be discussed.

II. Review of Proposal for a Graduate Certificate Program in Film Studies
I attach a copy of this proposal, submitted by Dean Koehler of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. A representative from the program will attend the meeting to answer questions.

III. Changes in Health Insurance for Graduate Students
There have been changes in the health insurance plans available at cost to all students as well as some changes in the plan provided to TA/TF/GSA/GSRs. We will discuss how best to bring these changes to the attention of our students, and how to facilitate their signing up for health insurance.

IV. Joint Programs with Foreign Institutions
We recently signed an agreement (see attached) for a few students (at most five) to earn an MBA at both our Katz Graduate School of Business and at the Fachhochschule Pforzheim. The intricacies of the plan will be discussed as a matter of interest.

V. Grievance Procedures
The Graduate and Professional Student Association has brought to our attention that it is difficult for a student to sort out the various grievance procedures available. We are planning to prepare some more user-friendly material this summer. UCGS members will be asked for comments and advice.
