AGENDA
3:00 - 5:00
817 Cathedral of Learning

I. Approval of the Minutes
The minutes of the meeting on February 25 are attached.

II. Review of Proposal for a Post-Master's Certificate program in Employee Assistance Programs
I attach a copy of this proposal, submitted by Dean Epperson of the School of Social Work. A representative from the school will attend the meeting to answer questions.

III. Review of Proposal to Terminate a Ph.D. Program in Neuroscience
I attach a proposal prepared by Edward Stricker and Pat Levitt to terminate the graduate program in Neuroscience. This is a program in which students are admitted into the School of Medicine but can be granted the degree through either FAS or the School of Medicine. It is submitted by both the School of Medicine and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

IV. Relationship of the Evaluation of Academic Programs to the Planning Process
Wynn Korr suggested this as a topic for discussion. We will discuss the present relationship and discuss possible changes.

V. Relationship of the Approval of Undergraduate Programs to UCGS
We do not bring proposals of new undergraduate majors to UCGS for review. A member of UCGS suggested that there may be cases in which a review would be useful.
