The following documents are based on a collaborative relationship
between United Nations and the Government of Lebanon in the education sector
of Lebanon. United Nations-UNICEF, UNESCO, UNDP and the World Bank, collaborate
with Lebanon's Ministry of Education and Youth and Sports and the Ministry
of Social Affairs, the Center for Educational Research and Development,
and interested local non-governmental organizations and the private sector,
to improve Lebanon's education. Joint educational activities have been
initiated to improve learning achievement and to promote knowledge, skills
and values that contribute to reconstruct Lebanon's socio-cultural, political
and economic infrastructure. The following material was provided by UNICEF
