Welcome to our home page! Our research group seeks to understand the structure and dynamics of macromolecules, particularly at surfaces, and their films. We are examining the molecular basis of macromolecule adhesion, macromolecule/crystal self-assembly at surfaces, and intra- and inter-molecular charge transfer dynamics. In this work we use a number of scanning probe methods including near-field spectroscopy, single molecule force and conducting probe atomic force microscopy, as well as ultrafast spectroscopy.
