Minor

The minor in German Studies consists of 15–19 credits. Students interested in the minor may tailor their course selection according to their interest in German language, literature, and film studies. They may select literature and film courses that are offered either in English translation or in German. Three options are available:

Option I. (15 – 19 credits)

*GER (1051 – 1410 and 1518) taught in German and GER (1500 – 1542 excluding 1518) taught in English.

Option III (19 credits)

German Language (5 courses ALL in GERMAN)

ONE GER 1000-level course (e.g., GER 1000, 1001, 1003, 1004, 1051, 1052, 1053)

*Students must pass GER 0004 with a minimum grade of 𠆋-’ before taking any course taught on the German 1000 level.
