Fawn T. Draucker

I am currently a Doctoral Candidate in Sociolinguistics at the University of Pittsburgh. I completed my M.A. in Linguistics at Pitt in 2009 and received my B.A. in Linguistics modified with Psychological Brain Sciences from Dartmouth College in 2004.

Very broadly, I am interested in the ways that the language we use helps to build and express our social identities. My primary interests lie in broadcast and social media communication, participation frameworks, and dialect variation.
