Fawn T. Draucker
I am currently a Ph.D. student in Sociolinguistics at the University of Pittsburgh. I completed my M.A. in Linguistics at Pitt in 2009 and received my B.A. in Linguistics modified with Psychological Brain Sciences from Dartmouth College in 2004.
Very broadly, I am interested in the ways that the language we use helps to build and express our social identities. My primary interests lie in sociophonetics, dialect variation, and media discourse. To read more about my current work, please click on the research interests tab.
