I am currently a Doctoral Candidate in Sociolinguistics at the University of Pittsburgh. I completed my M.A. in Linguistics at Pitt in 2009 and received my B.A. in Linguistics modified with Psychological Brain Sciences from Dartmouth College in 2004.

Very broadly, I am interested in the ways that the language we use helps to build and express our social identities.
