University of Pittsburgh at Bradford
Department of Engineering

August R. Freda, PhD, P.E., Professor Emeritus of Engineering

The School of Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh offers the Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical/Petroleum, Civil/Environmental, Electrical/Computer, Industrial, Materials/Metallurgical, and Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering. Pitt-Bradford offers the first two years of study, the same curricula as that offered on the Pittsburgh Campus, for these degree programs. The lone exception is Materials/Metallurgical Engineering. Students who meet the required academic standard of a 2.50/4.00 GPA after the two years are guaranteed relocation to the Pittsburgh Campus.

Since retiring, I have increased my hobby activity in R/C, building as well as flying.
