The original concept behind SatchLCall was developed for use in the University Library System at the University of Pittsburgh.

The Java quiz applet was designed and programmed by Michael Ford. Graphics for the quiz and slide show also designed by Michael Ford.

Original Microsoft PowerPoint© slide show concieved and developed by Tom Twiss.

Ideas and inspiration taken from numerous incarnations of the traditional "sliding blocks" puzzle, many examples of which are listed at www.jars.com, the Java Applet Rating Service. The IDG Books Worldwide title:

Bell, D., & Holder, W. (1998). Java Game Programming for Dummies. Foster City: IDG Books Worldwide, Inc.

provides some great examples as well.

SatchLCall is provided free of charge, and therefore on an "as is" basis, without warranty of any kind, including without limitation the warranties that it is free of defects or fit for any particular purpose.

SATCH = Saphire, Amber, Thunder, Caddy, Hopscotch.
