Update: 10 November 2002...
Throughout the year the PTA is asking for your help in collecting ink jet
cartridges. This is a very lucrative fundraiser that requires ONLY THAT
YOU SAVE OR COLLECT the cartridges. This notice is especially for those
Falk parents who work in an area that uses a lot of computers and who do not
already recycle them through work. There is a huge box in front of the
Falk School office all the time ready to accept your cartridges and all you need
to do is drop them in either in the morning before work (or ask your children to
do so) or when you pick the children up after school. Is is that
EASY. Please make this effort. I know that some parents work in
places where co-workers collect for their child's or grandchild's school but see
if you can't convince them to help YOUR CHILD's school and start saving for Falk
School instead. We really need everyone's help if we are ever to have a
new playground. (Posted by the FSWT for Nancy DelPresto)

Update: Friday, 26 Oct 01...
Thus far, our computer cartridge recycling program (ETCEP) has been a resounding success. We have collected 125
cartridges, earning us nearly 600 points which translates to approximately $250 in "credit" for computer technology supplies.
We are well on our way to this year's goal of 500 cartridges. Special thanks to those who have already volunteered to
spearhead the program in your place of business, but we need more help! Please talk to your family and friends and request that
their place of business "adopt" the Falk School by logging onto http://www.fundingfactory.com/Adoptreg.asp Falk School ID#
is 13855. We can also make arrangements to drop-off boxes and/or pick up the cartridges.
Cartridges can also be dropped off at the Falk School Main Office. For more information, please contact Nancy Glynn at
412-825-6545 (momalix@aol.com) or Barbara Bianco at 412-624-8459
(bbianco@pitt.edu). Thank you for your support and your cartridges!
