Lisa DiBartolomeo specializes in Polish and Russian literature, language, and culture; folklore; and Eastern European cinema.

She has previously taught Slavic 0660: Sci Fi: East and West, Russian Fairy Tales, Russian Fairy Tales (UESP course), Russian 0590: Formative Masterpieces of the Russian 19th Century, and Slavic 0880: Vampire: Blood and Empire.

She has a PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
