Janine E. Janosky, Ph.D.
Associate Professor
Janine E. Janosky, Ph.D. has been in the the Department of
Family Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology since 1992. Dr. Janosky also holds a
secondary appointment as an Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh,
School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. After receiving her Masters in
Psychology from Marshall University in West Virginia, Dr. Janosky attended the
University of Pittsburgh where she earned her Ph.D. in Research Methodology. Dr.
Janosky is much sought after for her statistical expertise. In addition to
teaching a course in Biomedical Research Designs Biostatistics at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh,
she also plays a key role on numerous research projects throughout a variety of
departments at the University of Pittsburgh, Children's Hospital and Western
Psychiatric Institute and Clinic. Currently, she serves as the Director
of Medical Student Practice-Based Research for the School of Medicine.
Furthermore, Dr. Janosky extends her community ties through active consulting at
many local institutions including Mercy Hospital and Western Pennsylvania Hospital
Foundation.
