UPMC St. Margaret Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship
University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) St. Margaret Family
Practice Residency offers a primary care sports medicine fellowship
designed to train excellent primary care sports medicine physicians. The
fellowship received accreditation by the Accreditation Council for
Graduate Medical Education during the first year of the program. The
future of this fellowship is promising as a result of the relationships
established with Freddie Fu, MD, chairman of the Department of
Orthopaedics at the University of Pittsburgh, and with James Bradley, MD,
team physician for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Dr. Fu, Dr. Bradley and their
associates remain actively involved with research relevant to these
fellowship programs.
