Community Preceptor Faculty Development Workshops
A two-workshop faculty development program created for community-based preceptors of health professional students: dental, medical, nursing, nurse practitioner, physician assistant. Preceptors gain information and develop the skills necessary for effective precepting of students, develop and build on existing knowledge and skills regarding incorporation of a student into their practice and utilize the support and rewards offered for community preceptors.
