Ya'aqov M. Abrams, M.D.
Assistant Professor of Family Medicine
Ya'aqov Abrams, M.D. is an Assistant Professor
in the department of Family Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology. A graduate of
Boston University of Medicine, Dr. Abrams completed his residency at San Francisco
General Hospital where he served as chief resident as well. He is board certified
in Family Practice. Before coming to the University of Pittsburgh in 1995, he
began his career as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California,
San Francisco. Dr. Abrams' practice is at the UPMC-Squirrel Hill satellite office
where he is also the medical director. In addition to being a teacher for Family
Medicine Third Year Clerkship at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine,
he also provides obstetrical instruction for the UPMC St. Margaret Family
Medicine Residency Program.
