Teaching Excellence Showcase
This annual fall event celebrates the many important teaching initiatives and teaching resources available to University of Pittsburgh faculty, which both illustrates and supports the important role of teaching at the University of Pittsburgh.  A major part of the Showcase consists of presentations of teaching grant projects funded by the Innovation in Education Awards Program in the previous year.  A variety of presentations, displays, and round-table discussions will highlight faculty initiatives and innovations related to teaching and to the use of instructional technology.  More information on the Teaching Excellence Showcase can be found at:  http://www.cidde.pitt.edu/tes/.

Summer Instructional Development Institute
The Provost’s Advisory Council on Instructional Excellence provides program and funding recommendations for the Summer Instructional Development Institute (SIDI). This annual Institute consists of professional development programs for Pitt faculty on topics related to University teaching.
