This page is the launch pad to exploring the world of chemistry on the World Wide Web. The image to the right, tris(bipyridyl)ruthenium, is at the center of my research. Molecules like "Rubippy" have been studied extensively to develop catalysts that would produce hydrogen from water. ... And hydrogen may just be the next best source of energy!

Chemistry is the science of molecules -- structure, physical properties, function, and reactivity, to name a few. This is the part of chemistry that "hooked" me into becoming a chemist!
