Task:

Your overarching task will be to analyze the Web as a medium for learning. In the accomplishment of this task, you will, as a team:

make a judgment about the Web's risks and rewards in the context of K-12 education;

examine effective strategies for finding quality, trustworthy, appropriate information on the Web;

consider the value for learning of various web-based communications tools;

learn about prepared Web-based learning environments;

use group bulletin boards set up by your instructor for purposes of communication and collaboration;

make a presentation to the rest of the class, giving the outcomes of your investigation.
