Two versions of Kanchi, a <U>devanagari</U> font for Macintosh, are available here.  The <A HREF="ftp://mirror.apple.com/mirrors/mac.archive.umich.edu/system.extensions/font/type3/indianfonts.sit.hqx">original version </A>,
 designed by G. L. Hart, can be downloaded from the University of Michigan software archives.  A modified version, <A HREF="http://babel.uoregon.edu/yamada/fonts/hindi.html">K&aring;nchi NR </A>, with changes by John Roberts, is available from the Yamada font archives at the University of Oregon.
