The exam will consist exclusively of short-answer questions (same format, more or less, as the Oct. 3 test). There will be about 20 short-answer questions. About 25% of the material in these 20 or so questions will be connected with Starr's "Sources on Athenian Democracy and Imperialism" (pp. 193-211), which had previously been announced as forming the basis for a longer essay question.
