Abstract:
This is an encyclopedia article providing an overview of the method for reasoning under uncertainty, ranging from Naive Bayes, through MYCIN's certainty factors, fuzzy logic, fuzzy sets and rough sets, non-monotonic logics, Dempster-Shafer theory, and Bayesian networks.
