My Bio

This web page is not for my ENGR0011 class but the content in the page is mine and what is posted is my choice and is not the position of the university and does not reflect on the university policies

My name is Devin Cortes and I am a current student at the University of Pittsburgh. I am studying undergraduate Bioengineering with a concentration in Cellular Engineering, minor in Chemistry, and a minor in Computer Science

I graduated from Chippewa Highschool with Honors and a 4.36 GPA. I also obtianed an IB Diploma, which is an alternate education program I attended during my junior and senior year of highschool. The program focuses on international studies and its riguor is in comparison to that of taking only AP style classes. I also obtained a 33 on my ACTs.

I have always had a strong passion for learning and educating myself, and others. I love to teach and help people understand things they struggle in. I believe as a current student, I offer a unique way of teaching more suited to that of the student. I will take time to understand what techniques are best to teach each individual student. I have collected very large amounts of reference materials, notes, and tricks to learning that are not taught in a traditional classroom.

If you would like to know more about me, my educational/work experiences, or anything else, please feel free to contact me.
