Dmitriy Babichenko, Professor of Practice Hi! My name is Dmitriy Babichenko and I’m a part-time 1st year PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Information Sciences.

I have an undergraduate degree in history and a Master’s degree in Information Sciences with specialization in web systems.

Before I came to the School of Information Sciences, I worked for 7 years at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine developing educational systems for medical students. This experience carried over into my research interests, which include disease modeling, Bayesean networks, medical education systems and serious games.

My advisor is Dr. Marek Druzdzel.
