other means of assessment for elementary and intermediate courses

Teaching two to three elementary and intermediate courses per
semester, including all lesson plans, student assessment, etc.
• Mentoring and instructing new teaching assistants in teaching approaches

• Co-creation and presentation of TA Orientation week
• Second faculty member on the Pitt in Italy summer program in Syracuse, Italy.

intermediate Italian courses and supervised the curriculum of Italian
programs for an American study abroad company based in Florence, Italy.

Taught an intermediate course in Bologna, Italy in July
2005. Responsible for all grading and evaluations, lesson
planning, and materials used in classroom. Lived with students
and assisted in daily tasks and weekly excursions.
