I started teaching Japanese Language at the University of Pittsburgh in 1999. I did not realize when I started how much I enjoy teaching Japanese. I have taught ACT class at every level that Pitt offers including the Summer Intensive Japanese courses.

I enjoy my weekends reading books in a coffee shop (although I quit drinking coffee a few years ago and now drink only tea) and watching movies. I also enjoy spending my weekends in the Strip District going around different kinds of ethnic grocery stores since I like both cooking and eating.
